This post is about 3 months over due, but Philip and I are engaged!
We went on holiday to Lanzarote for the Easter half term and the day after we arrived Phil proposed. We spent the day on the beach, lazing in the sunshine, napping and forgetting to reapply the all important sunscreen. We attempted to go snorkeling but the ocean was FREEZING! So needless to say we didn't stay in the water for very long. After waking up from a sun induced nap Phil convinced me to swim out to these rocks a few hundred feet out. After summoning the courage to take the plunge back into the Arctic waters, we managed to clamber onto the rocks. We roamed around searching for sea life in the rock pools and when my back was turned Philip got down on one knee and the rest is history.
